Replay has launched Echo, a native iOS and iPadOS SSH client built on Ghostty's terminal engine, priced at $2.99 with no subscriptions. The app targets developers who increasingly manage remote machines and AI coding agents like Claude Code and Codex from mobile devices. Echo offers Metal-accelerated rendering, native Keychain integration, and Face ID security.

Unlike web-wrapped alternatives, Echo was built from scratch for iOS with platform-specific optimizations. The iPhone version features a custom toolbar with quick-access keys and gesture-based navigation, while the iPad supports hardware keyboards, Split View, Slide Over, and Stage Manager for multi-session workflows. These design choices address the practical challenges of terminal work on touchscreens.
