Arca Noae has released ArcaOS 5.1.2, an update to their OS/2-based operating system that now supports UEFI-based systems and GPT disk layouts. The update enables installation on modern hardware while maintaining compatibility with traditional BIOS systems. ArcaOS 5.1.2 is available in English, German, Spanish, and Russian.

Existing users with active ArcaOS 5.1 Support & Maintenance subscriptions receive the update free of charge. The operating system can be installed from USB sticks created using Windows, Linux, macOS, or other compatible systems. Users can also burn the DVD image to physical media for installation.

The release focuses on enhanced stability and performance across both UEFI and BIOS environments.
