Breville is hoping to do for pour-over coffee what it did for toast and soda with the new Spiral Luxe Auto Pour Over, a premium $600 kitchen appliance that makes pour-overs from scratch.

The machine combines a coffee grinder with a rotating water spout, automating a process that typically requires grinding coffee to the right consistency, dumping it into a filter, and manually pouring water at timed intervals. It features a grinder with "bespoke 40mm flat burrs," a conical dripper, and an articulating water spout that moves in a spiral pattern like a human barista.

The built-in display and controls let you dial in the amount and strength of your coffee, save custom recipes, and use Advanced Edit mode to adjust the grinder, brew ratio, water temperature, and time between pours. A Delayed Auto Start feature lets you program coffee to be ready at a specific time.
