Join the Siri AI Waitlist in iOS 27

Siri AI is open for business, but interested users will need to join the queue before Apple lets them in the door. Here's where it is, and how to sign up for the list.

Apple's new Siri AI features aren't automatically available after installing iOS 27. If you're interested in trying, you must first request access through a waitlist. To join the waitlist, you need to meet certain criteria. This includes having a compatible iPhone, setting your language to English, and meeting age and country requirements.

If you do meet the criteria, you can join the waitlist by following the steps below. Ensure your iPhone is updated to iOS 27, open Settings, tap Siri, tap Try Siri AI (beta), and follow the prompts.

As the name implies, joining the waitlist doesn't guarantee immediate access to Siri AI. Even users who were using Siri AI in the beta need to rejoin the waitlist. Apple is rolling out the features gradually, so users may have to wait before Siri's new capabilities become available. Some have been let in nearly immediately, while others are still waiting, hours later. Once access is granted, the iPhone will notify you that the new Siri features are ready. Any additional models or resources required to run the features will then be available to download. Apple has used waitlists for major AI launches before, including the initial Apple Intelligence rollout.
