NBA Milestones & Injury Updates
LeBron James became available for the Lakers' Thursday night contest in Miami, putting him in position to tie Robert Parish's all-time mark of 1,611 regular-season games played, a feat the Hall of Famer deemed "deserving." While James prepared for the milestone matchup, the Cleveland Cavaliers faced roster challenges as star guard Donovan Mitchell sat out against the Chicago Bulls due to a bruised left eye. Further complicating Eastern Conference playoff positioning, the Brooklyn Nets confirmed that forward Michael Porter Jr. faces weeks on the sidelines, as a strained left hamstring will sideline the leading scorer for an estimated two to three weeks.
