NHL Trade Deadline Moves

Justin Faulk is heading to the Red Wings after a trade with the rebuilding Blues. The 15-year veteran defenseman joins Detroit as they push for a playoff spot.

The Maple Leafs made two significant trades, sending Bobby McMann to the Kraken and Scott Laughton to the Kings. Both forwards were dealt ahead of Friday's NHL trade deadline.

Corey Perry is returning to the Lightning after being traded from the Kings. The veteran forward previously won a Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2020 and 2021.

Contract Extensions

The Seattle Kraken have secured their captain's future, signing Jordan Eberle to a two-year extension worth $5.5 million annually. The 34-year-old Eberle has been a key leader for Seattle since their inaugural season.

The Sharks locked up their goaltender, agreeing to a two-year extension with Alex Nedeljkovic. Terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Playoff Push Acquisitions

The Islanders made a major move for their playoff push, acquiring Brayden Schenn from the Blues. The 34-year-old Schenn had served as St. Louis' captain for the past three seasons. In return, the Blues receive Jonathan Drouin, two draft picks, and a prospect.

Family Reunion

The Wild acquired Nick Foligno from the Blackhawks, giving the veteran captain a chance to play alongside his brother Marcus Foligno. The trade reunites the Foligno brothers in Minnesota.
