Trades & Signings

The Ravens have won the Maxx Crosby sweepstakes, beating out the Cowboys and others by sending 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to the Raiders for the star pass rusher. Meanwhile, the Bears found a new starting center, acquiring Garrett Bradbury from the Patriots in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick. The Patriots have also agreed to a two-year deal with quarterback Tommy DeVito worth a maximum value of $7.4 million. In other moves, the Chargers have signed free agent center Tyler Biadasz to replace retired Bradley Bozeman, while the Rams are re-signing safety Kam Curl to a three-year, $36 million contract.

Roster Changes

The Texans released veteran running back Joe Mixon on Friday after he missed the 2025 season with a foot injury. The Bills also made significant cuts, releasing veteran nickel corner Taron Johnson, wide receiver Curtis Samuel, safety Taylor Rapp and cornerback Dane Jackson as they work to get cap compliant. Offensive lineman Taylor Decker, the Lions' longest-tenured player, has requested his release, he announced on social media. On the retirement front, Ryan Kelly announced his retirement after 10 seasons in the NFL, following an injury-filled season with the Vikings.

Contract & Team Updates

The Browns have once again restructured the contract of quarterback Deshaun Watson, a move that frees close to $36 million in cap space. Lamar Jackson's contract situation has significant ramifications for Baltimore as the Ravens hope for an extension sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, the Bengals' offseason takes on added importance with star quarterback Joe Burrow pushing for meaningful changes. Elsewhere, Mac Jones enjoyed a memorable weekend in Cabo for a camp during this offseason period.
