Ubisoft's recent layoffs affected Red Storm more severely than initially reported, with 105 employees losing their jobs as the studio shifted to support status. The restructuring raised questions about unfinished projects, but Insider Gaming revealed Red Storm was actively developing 10 games simultaneously before the cuts, including several major franchises under the Tom Clancy banner.

Among Red Storm's projects were five new titles: the next Ghost Recon game (Project OVR), a turn-based tactics game similar to XCOM, Tom Clancy's The Division 3, Beyond Good and Evil 2, and an unannounced early-stage project. The studio also contributed to ongoing projects like Rainbow Six Siege, Splinter Cell, Watch Dogs Director's Cut, and provided audio work for The Division 2.

Despite the significant downsizing, Ubisoft has not publicly acknowledged the changes at Red Storm or announced any game cancellations. The studio's new support role suggests these projects will likely shift to other Ubisoft teams, though the exact impact on development timelines and quality remains uncertain without official confirmation from the company.
