Ubisoft has placed veterans of the Assassin's Creed Black Flag project at the helm of the franchise, appointing three experienced executives to key leadership roles. Martin Schelling, previously a Producer and Senior Producer on Black Flag, Origins, Revelations, and Valhalla, becomes Head of Brand. Jean Guesdon, Creative Director of Black Flag and Origins, takes on Head of Content.

François De Billy, who served in multiple roles on Black Flag and Revelations and as Production Director on Origins and Valhalla, is named Head of Production Excellence. This move signals a return to familiar hands for the franchise following a controversial reshuffle that saw projects like the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake axed and Assassin's Creed Black Flag delayed.
