Transcend Information, Inc. introduced its latest industrial SSD and memory card lineup built on 218-layer 3D NAND flash technology. The new products target AI computing, edge applications, and smart manufacturing environments where data-intensive workloads demand higher storage density and reliability.

The flagship MTE740A SSD leads the pack with PCIe Gen 5 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 support, delivering sequential read speeds up to 14,000 MB/s and random read performance reaching 2.1 million IOPS. Additional models include the MTE770A PCIe Gen 4 M.2 2280, compact MTE490A M.2 2242, and SATA III-based SSD490K, all rated for up to 3,000 program/erase cycles.

For edge recording and surveillance applications, Transcend launched the SDC470T SD card and USD470T micro SD card with up to 1,460 TBW endurance and 3,000 P/E cycles. Both cards support SD 6.1 specification and operate across wide temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C. The company also provides Scope Pro monitoring software for real-time health tracking and predictive maintenance.

These solutions arrive as AI workloads and edge deployments expand rapidly across industrial automation and data centers. With enhanced reliability features like Corner Bond construction and TCG Opal 2.0 encryption, Transcend aims to capture growing demand for durable storage in mission-critical environments.
