Saber Interactive and Focus Entertainment have released a new gameplay overview trailer for John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, an 80s-inspired action-horror game. The trailer showcases the game's story, missions, weapons, and classes. Fans of zombie games and gory action can get ready for a March 12th release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

This new title draws inspiration from classic horror films. Players will engage in 4-player co-op action, battling hordes of mutated zombies across a semi-open world. The game features a variety of weapons, including shotguns, SMGs, and sniper rifles. With four character classes, there's a lot of potential for strategic team play.

A playable demo will be available on Steam from February 19th to March 2nd, allowing players to experience the zombie-slaying action firsthand. Pre-orders are open for both the Standard and Blood Editions, with the latter including bonus content. The game aims to capture the chaotic energy of classic B-movies.

This release capitalizes on the enduring appeal of zombie games and the nostalgia for 80s horror. The demo offers a chance to build hype before the official launch. With cross-platform play, the game is poised to attract a large audience. Expect more details about gameplay and features as the release date nears.
