Thermaltake TS EX RGB Fans Launch with Smart Sensors

Thermaltake has launched its new TS120 and TS140 EX RGB cooling fans, introducing a novel approach to PC thermal management. The headline feature is a built-in temperature sensor on each fan, allowing for localized, real-time speed adjustments rather than relying on a single CPU or motherboard reading. This design promises more precise cooling by directing airflow specifically where it's needed most.

Beyond the smart sensors, these fans incorporate MagForce 2.0 magnetic connectors for simple daisy-chaining, reducing cable clutter during installation. The series also debuts a unique Music Staff Lighting Effect, with five linear RGB strips for visual flair. Available in 120mm and 140mm sizes, both black and white editions are offered to fit diverse build aesthetics and requirements.

Thermaltake's move addresses a common frustration for builders: achieving efficient cooling without excessive noise or complicated wiring. By decentralizing temperature detection, the system can react more dynamically to hotspots within the chassis. This launch marks a significant step in fan technology, offering PC enthusiasts a smarter, more efficient solution for managing system thermals and acoustics.
