HYTE, the retail components brand under iBuyPower, rolled out significant updates to its popular case and fan series at Computex 2026. The company introduced its first ARGB aesthetic performance fans, the THICC FR12 RGB, marking a shift toward more visually striking PC cooling solutions for mainstream builders.

The THICC FR12 RGB fans come in 120 mm Solo and 360 mm Trio configurations with a 32 mm unibody frame. They push 57.14 CFM of airflow and 4.44 mm H2O of static pressure, offering both traditional and reverse blade options. Each fan packs up to 68 LEDs for 360-degree illumination and supports standard daisy-chaining with universal PWM and ARGB connections. These fans arrive in Q3 2026 priced at $19.99 for Solo and $44.99 for Trio.

HYTE also refreshed its standard cooling line with FA12 G2 fans featuring hybrid blade profiles and fluid dynamic bearings for quieter operation. Available in Snow White, Pitch Black, Strawberry Milk, and Taro Milk, the four-pack Solo retails for $39.99 while Trio costs $24.99. The company expanded its ecosystem with an ARGB & PWM Smart Hub at $24.99, flexible lighting strips, and cable extension kits priced at $69.99.

These updates reflect HYTE's builder-first approach, addressing customer feedback about proprietary hardware limitations. By focusing on plug-and-play compatibility and universal standards, HYTE aims to simplify custom PC builds while delivering performance and aesthetic flexibility that competes with premium offerings.
