Thermalright has launched the Frost Tower 140, a high-performance dual fin-stack CPU cooler that aims to match the cooling capabilities of 240 mm AIOs. Available in three color schemes—all black, all white, and natural color—this cooler offers a sleek design with chrome or nickel-plated copper heat pipes, depending on the trim. The FT140 measures 140 mm x 146 mm x 158 mm and features seven 6 mm-thick heat pipes that make indirect contact with the CPU over a C1100 copper base.

This cooler includes two fans: a 140 mm TL-N14DW-R7 and a 120 mm TL-N12W-R9, arranged in a push-pull configuration. The 120 mm fan serves as an intake "push" fan, while the 140 mm fan acts as a "pull" fan. Both fans come with double ball-bearings and can reach speeds of up to 2,400 RPM and 1,850 RPM, respectively.

At these speeds, the 120 mm fan delivers 83.35 CFM of airflow with 2.95 mm H₂O static pressure, and the 140 mm fan provides 120 CFM at 2.4 mm H₂O. Despite their efficiency, these fans are relatively quiet, producing 33.3 dBA and 36.25 dBA of noise, respectively. Featuring premium liquid crystal polymer impellers, noise-dampening rings, and silicone mounts, the Frost Tower 140 ensures durability and low noise levels.

This cooler is compatible with a wide range of CPU sockets, including AM5, AM4, LGA1851, LGA1700, and LGA1200/115x. Thermalright's Frost Tower 140 offers a compelling option for those seeking high-performance cooling without the complexity of AIO systems, especially for users who prioritize air cooling solutions.
