Sony Electronics is refreshing its INZONE gaming peripheral line, introducing two specialized pieces of hardware aimed squarely at competitive gamers. The new gear includes the INZONE H6 Air open-back headset, prioritizing natural sound staging, and the INZONE M10S II, a 27-inch QHD OLED monitor boasting an extreme 540 Hz refresh rate. These additions show Sony doubling down on high-fidelity audio and speed.

Collaboration with esports outfit Fnatic shaped the M10S II monitor, resulting in features like a tandem-structured OLED panel and a rapid 0.02 ms response time. Sony engineered a unique Motion Blur Reduction system that manages to maintain brightness levels better than typical MBR implementations. This focus on zero compromise speed suggests Sony is serious about challenging established high-refresh-rate display makers in the esports sector.

The H6 Air headset differentiates itself by using an open-back design, similar to Sony's studio reference headphones, for improved spatial audio accuracy, a departure from closed-back gaming standards. At just 199 g, it is positioned as Sony’s lightest gaming headset ever. The H6 Air arrives priced at $199.99 USD, while the M10S II monitor commands a $1,099.99 USD tag later this year.

Further expanding the partnership, new Fnatic Edition input devices like the INZONE Mouse-A and specialized mouse mats are also launching immediately. Sony is rounding out the refresh with a new translucent Glass Purple colorway for its existing INZONE Buds.
