GeForce RTX 5090 prices in Germany have pushed past €5,000, with the cheapest model on Geizhals at €5,242.94 for the INNO3D iCHILL Frostbite Pro. Hardwareluxx reports no RTX 5090 below €5,200 in Germany, and several mainstream models near €5,500. The same card was around €3,029 in January, a 73% jump in eight months. NVIDIA's Founders Edition RTX 5090, when in stock, is still €2,099, so custom cards cost over double.

Germany isn't alone. RTX 5090 pricing in the US recently crossed $5,000, and NVIDIA hasn't addressed either publicly. Instead, it leans on event-based promotions like at PAX West to hand out occasional MSRP units rather than fixing the overall pricing problem.

The rising cost of GDDR7 memory tied to AI demand is the main driver, and board partners have passed those costs to consumers for months. A late-2024 leak predicted $5,000 pricing in 2026, and that call is looking accurate. The difference is that new prices are driven by a memory shortage, not an MSRP change. With no sign of easing, prices aren't expected to come down soon.
