Radxa launched two new AI-focused NAS systems that ship with Fygo OS pre-installed, targeting users who want private cloud capabilities with local AI processing. The DragonStation and DragonBay combine storage with on-device AI computation, addressing the growing shift away from cloud-based AI services toward local infrastructure that keeps sensitive data under user control.

DragonStation targets developers and AI enthusiasts with six NVMe SSD slots supporting up to 48 TB all-flash storage, dual 10GbE networking, and Qualcomm Snapdragon computing. Users can expand with AI accelerators reaching 320 TOPS and deploy models up to 120B parameters locally. The system acts as both high-performance storage and AI workstation, enabling personal assistants, RAG systems, and autonomous AI agents without cloud dependency.

DragonBay balances capacity and performance with four HDD bays plus NVMe acceleration, scaling beyond 140 TB total storage. Both systems feature CNC aluminum enclosures and magnetic front-panel expansion. Fygo OS provides unified web management, AI photo search, private media streaming via Fygo TV, and cross-device sync through FygoSync.

These systems arrive as consumers increasingly prioritize data privacy amid rising AI adoption. Instead of uploading personal information to cloud services, users can now run retrieval-augmented generation and large language models directly on their storage hardware, reducing latency while maintaining full ownership of their datasets.
