Even simple color changes present significant engineering challenges. The injection molding process for fans can be disrupted by new pigments, potentially affecting fan tip clearance and the Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer material. This technical complexity reinforces Noctua's commitment to perfecting core cooling performance over visual enhancements.
