Noctua has released a black version of its flagship NF-A12x25 G2 120mm fan. The chromax.black variants come in single-fan and speed-offset dual-fan packs, delivering the same award-winning quiet cooling performance in a sleek all-black design that users can customize with colored anti-vibration pads.

The NF-A12x25 G2 launched in June 2025 and has already collected more than 70 awards from hardware publications worldwide. The fan features a Progressive Bend impeller with a Centrifugal Turbulator hub, winglets, and a record-tight 0.5mm tip clearance. Its etaPERF motor with SupraTorque provides extra torque headroom for demanding radiator setups, while the Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer impeller and SSO2 bearing ensure reliability rated at over 150,000 hours MTTF.

The dual-fan Sx2-PP pack uses offset speeds (+/- ~50rpm) to prevent harmonic interference like beat frequencies that can cause audible vibrations.
