Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the new 4v4 tag‑team fighting game from Arc System Works and PlayStation Publishing, has an open beta scheduled for July 24-26, ahead of its August 6 release. This marks the first time players can experience the game outside closed betas, and it will introduce Blade for the first time. Players will have access to 15 heroes and villains, including Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, and more.

The beta will be available on PS5 and PC via Steam. It does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription, but players must register an “Account for PlayStation,” effectively a rebranded PSN account. This requirement was confirmed when SteamDB showed that the game would be inaccessible in 132 countries due to account restrictions.

The roster includes Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther, Storm, Magik, Wolverine, Danger, Spider‑Man, Ms. Marvel, Star‑Lord, Peni Parker, Ghost Rider, Blade, Doctor Doom, Magneto. Six stages—New York (day/night), Savage Land, X‑Mansion, Knowhere, and Wakanda—will be playable. Modes include online casual, ranked, local Versus, and an Episode Mode featuring three chapters of the “Amazing Guardians” motion‑comic story.
