Arc System Works revealed Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will launch on August 6, 2026 for PC and PS5 during the recent State of Play event. The fighting game features a team-based combat system with characters from the X-Men universe, including Storm, Magik, Wolverine, and Danger. Pre-orders begin February 19, 2026.

A new trailer showcased the Unbreakable X-Men team, highlighting each character's unique fighting style. Magik and Wolverine employ close-range melee attacks with high maneuverability, while Storm and Danger focus on ranged abilities. The trailer also demonstrated a team-based finisher move where all four characters combine attacks. The game will include an Episode Mode that tells its story through motion comics combining American comics and Japanese manga.

Players can choose from three editions: Standard ($59.99), Digital Deluxe ($84.99), and Ultimate ($99.99). Pre-order bonuses include an Infinity Gauntlet lobby customization item, Baby Groot lobby pet, and Cosmic Surfboard ride. Higher-tier editions offer additional in-game skins, lobby customizations, and year one character and stage passes. The narrative centers on the X-Men defending Earth from an existential threat despite being ostracized as mutants.
