The gameplay trailer features Wolverine riding motorcycles, jumping between moving vehicles, and teaming up with Jean Grey (whose appearance strongly resembles Jesse from Control). The combat is described as "comically violent" with hints of Sunset Overdrive's movement style, but significantly bloodier as Logan hunts down mutants kidnapped for mysterious purposes.

Insomniac continues its successful partnership with Marvel after the Spider-Man series, delivering what appears to be another character-driven action game with over-the-top violence.
