LG Display has begun mass production of the world's first 240 Hz RGB Stripe OLED panel, entering the premium monitor market. This display technology arranges red, green, and blue subpixels in a linear stripe structure, providing clearer text rendering and reduced eye strain during prolonged work sessions. The 27-inch panel targets professionals in document work, coding, and content editing who need both sharp text and immersive quality.

The 240 Hz RGB Stripe OLED combines 160 PPI resolution with proprietary Dynamic Frequency & Resolution technology, allowing users to switch between high-resolution mode (4K 240 Hz) and high-refresh-rate mode (FHD 480 Hz). This dual capability addresses both productivity needs with detailed visuals and entertainment requirements with smooth motion, eliminating the need for separate monitors for different tasks.

LG Display's expansion into the premium monitor segment comes amid rising demand from AI PC users for multitasking displays. The company aims to accelerate the high-end market's transition from LCD to OLED through technological leadership. 160 PPI represents a significant achievement in pixel density for RGB stripe OLED structure, setting a new standard for premium displays in the growing professional and gaming markets.
