LG Electronics has unveiled the world's first Full HD gaming monitor with a native 1000 Hz refresh rate. The UltraGear 25G590B delivers unprecedented visual response for competitive gamers, especially in first-person shooter titles. This breakthrough display combines a 24.5-inch screen with ultra-fast performance that enables quicker reactions and more precise gameplay, setting a new standard in esports technology.

Unlike previous monitors requiring compromises between resolution and refresh rate, the 25G590B maintains 1000 Hz performance at Full HD resolution by default. Motion Blur Reduction Pro technology makes fast-moving objects sharper and easier to track, while the IPS panel with low-reflection film ensures consistent color reproduction. The monitor also features AI Scene Optimization and AI Sound to enhance immersion without compromising competitive performance.

Lee Choong-hwoan, head of Display Business at LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, called this "a defining moment for gaming monitors" that establishes a new performance benchmark. The 24.5-inch design reflects esports preferences, with a minimalist stand that maximizes desktop space for mouse movement. Gamers can expect the UltraGear 25G590B to hit select markets in the second half of 2026, bringing cutting-edge display technology to competitive players worldwide.
