Early Intel Arc graphics solutions faced challenges on Linux. However, recent tests reveal a positive shift. Phoronix benchmarked the new Panther Lake B390 iGPU against the Radeon 890M in an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. Surprisingly, Intel's iGPU consistently outperformed the Radeon, echoing earlier Windows results.

The testing was done on an MSI Prestige 14, using Mesa 26.0 drivers on Linux Kernel 6.19.
