G.Skill brought serious memory muscle to Computex 2026 with an eight-channel DDR5-10000 setup pushing 512 GB across eight 64 GB RDIMMs. Paired with Intel's Xeon 658X Granite Rapids processor and ASUS workstation motherboard, the configuration hit 602 GB/s reads and 86 nanosecond latency—numbers that put most consumer rigs to shame.

The company also displayed a 768 GB variant running DDR5-8800 modules, proving Intel Xeon platforms can handle extreme memory densities. For AMD fans, G.Skill assembled a 512 GB DDR5-7200 kit on Threadripper PRO hardware, showing CL46-56-56-115 timings that aren't terrible for this speed class.

Perhaps the biggest surprise targets mainstream enthusiasts. G.Skill paired a consumer Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus with 256 GB of DDR5-6400 ECC CUDIMM memory, demonstrating that error-correcting memory isn't exclusive to server parts anymore. However, ECC support requires the specific ASUS W880 platform.

These demonstrations signal where workstation and enthusiast memory is heading—higher capacities, faster speeds, and ECC trickling into premium consumer segments. Whether builders actually need 512 GB of DDR5-10000 remains questionable, but the performance ceiling keeps rising.
