Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd announced its full DDR5 motherboard lineup now supports CXSH (CXMT) chip-based memory, expanding options amid industry memory shortage. AMD AM5 800/600 series motherboards achieve stable 8200 MT/s with BIOS optimization following AGESA 1.3.0.1c release.

Intel 800/700 series platforms support CXSH (CXMT) memory out of the box with current shipping BIOS. The update covers 16 Gb and 24 Gb densities, breaking previous AM5 limitations and providing performance headroom.

The DDR5 market faces tight supply and rising prices; CXSH (CXMT) chips offer additional supply. Gigabyte remains committed to broad compatibility with memory and platform partners. BIOS updates available for AMD motherboards; Intel boards require no update.
