Gateron has introduced its new Magnetic Jade Attraction HE switches, promising a uniquely linear typing experience. Unlike traditional mechanical or magnetic switches that increase in resistance through travel, these switches maintain a constant 30 gf force from start to bottom-out. This design creates what Gateron calls a perfectly linear switch weight throughout the keystroke.

The innovation builds on Gateron's Dual-Drive stem design from the Magnetic Spark switches, adding three small permanent magnets to the switch housing. These magnets compensate for the typical spring compression resistance increase, maintaining consistent force throughout the keystroke. The manufacturing process also achieves tighter quality control, reducing actuation force variance to ±2 gf compared to the usual ±5 gf.

The Magnetic Jade Attraction HE switches are available for pre-sale at $47.60 for a pack of 70 switches through Gateron's online store. This launch represents Gateron's continued push into the competitive magnetic switch market, where consistency and precision are increasingly valued by enthusiasts and gamers alike.
