Developer KING Art Games today announced that Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV will now launch on December 3, with Commander Edition players gaining early access from November 30.\n\nThe team is taking a little more time to further refine the experience, focusing on performance optimization, bug fixing, gameplay polish, and incorporating feedback from recent community playtesting. Development continues at full pace, with more Battlefield Reports, gameplay showcases, and developer deep dives expected over the coming months.\n\n“As we approached the final stages of development, we saw an opportunity to further enhance Dawn of War IV and deliver the quality of experience we've always envisioned,” said Jan Theysen, Creative Director at KING Art Games. An updated Year One roadmap reflecting the revised launch timing has been released.

Both editions are available for pre-order now with a 10% discount, and post-launch free updates include the return of Crusade Mode, new maps, modes, Commanders, the Mission Editor, and two major story expansions introducing a new playable faction on Kronus.
