CXMT has officially begun high-volume manufacturing of LPDDR6 memory, positioning its modules among the first in the industry. Xiaomi is the first customer, set to use the memory in the upcoming Xiaomi 18 Fold smartphone launching in September, requiring deliveries before month-end. CXMT's LPDDR6 operates at up to 12.8 Gbps with a 16 Gb (2 GB) capacity in a package-on-package (POP) design featuring approximately 1,295 pins.

SK hynix is also nearing mass production, with its LPDDR6 modules expected to run at up to 14.4 Gbps on a 1c (10 nm) node, both within JEDEC's LPDDR6 specification. The advancement signals rapid progress in next-generation mobile memory technology.
