CTL rolled out the PX112C Series Chromebook, embedding 5G, 4G LTE, and CBRS bands to replace external hotspots. The device delivers instant, high‑bandwidth access for students in classrooms, homes, or remote sites.

CEO Jason Mendenhall framed the launch as a move toward educational equity, noting that 5G’s power‑efficient design maximizes battery life for on‑the‑go learning and eliminates hotspot security risks for district IT.

Baker Charter Schools already adopted CTL’s LTE‑enabled models to cut IT overhead and improve reliability. The PX112C Series will receive Verizon 5G and 4G LTE certification soon, with AT&T and T‑Mobile approvals slated for later in 2026, and will ship in Q2 2026.

Beyond connectivity, the PX112C Series ships in bulk, Forest Service Council‑certified boxes and incorporates at least 30% post‑consumer recycled plastics, aligning with B Corp sustainability standards. Lifecycle services, including zero‑touch enrollment and no‑deductible repair plans, further reduce total cost of ownership for districts, delivering a secure, ready‑to‑use platform for next‑generation learners.
