Crimson Moon, a new gothic action-adventure RPG, was revealed during today's State of Play showcase, with a planned launch on PS5 in 2026. The game casts players as the Nephilim, a human-angel hybrid tasked with reclaiming the cursed city of Gildenarch from demonic forces. Set in a dark world filled with angels, demons, and ancient gods, the narrative follows humanity's struggle against the Infernal Legion.

Players will battle through Gildenarch district by district, facing undead hordes, vampires, and demonic enemies while pushing back the Legion's Hellgrowth corruption. The game features expressive combat mechanics including parries, finishers, angelic transformations, and evolving challenges. Each cleared district unlocks new missions and builds toward a final confrontation with vampire lord Solomon Moore, the architect behind the city's fall.

The Sanctus Clypeus serves as the central hub where players prepare builds, forge weapons at the Blacksmith, and plan incursions. Co-op multiplayer allows friends to join forces with dynamic difficulty scaling, while solo players can tackle the campaign independently. The ongoing invasion system ensures each mission feels like a ritual of resistance against the encroaching darkness.
