Colorful introduced its first premium magnetic keyboards at Computex 2026, showcasing the Magnex XC87 and XC87 Lila. Both offer an 80% TKL layout, aluminium chassis, custom magnetic switches, PC keycaps, MCL chamberless mount, 8,000 Hz polling, a small OLED screen, a control knob, and wired connectivity. XC87 uses Rainstar switches, while Lila features Jadeite switches and purple‑themed keycaps for gamers. The OLED panel shows real‑time polling stats, while the rotary knob offers quick macro access for power users.

Also displayed were the Mech QY98 Pro and QY98, each with a 98% layout, leaf‑spring mounting, wired, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4 GHz links. The Pro version ships with Skyblue switches, PBT five‑sided dye‑sublimation caps, and an 8,000 mAh battery; the standard QY98 uses Starfrost switches, double‑shot PBT caps, and a 4,000 mAh battery. Both models support full‑NKRO and feature detachable USB‑C cables for easy transport. Highlights Colorful's push into the high‑end mechanical market.

The flagship Magnex QY98 Ultra, launched in December last year, returns with Purplelight switches, leaf‑spring mount, tri‑mode connectivity and a 10,000 mAh battery. Its tri‑mode design covers wired, Bluetooth, and RF links. Offering multiple connectivity options and a large power reserve positions Colorful to challenge established mechanical brands. The lineup underscores a trend toward magnetic‑switch keyboards aimed at enthusiasts seeking premium build and low‑latency performance.
