CannonKeys has announced the PFF (Penguin Flat Foot) profile keycaps, a new low-profile option for custom mechanical keyboards. Designed by Matt3o and manufactured by Keyreative, the PFF is a compact variant of the existing PBS profile, tailored for ergonomics within tight switch constraints.

The keycaps feature a hybrid design: cylindrical edges like Cherry profiles and a spherical top similar to SA or KSA styles. This creates better tactile separation between keys. Available in WoB and Verdant Retro colorways, the sets use dye-sublimated printing and 1.5 mm walls. Stems are MX-style, supporting Gateron Low-Profile and Kailh Choc V1 switches.

Pricing remains unannounced, but Matt3o indicated the sets will cost less than PBS, which sell between $40 and $80. The PFF maintains uniform height, supporting alternative layouts like Dvorak or Colemak. This launch caters to enthusiasts seeking ergonomic, space-efficient builds without sacrificing customization.
