French manufacturer Bleu Jour has refreshed its Kubb Fanless mini PC with Intel's latest Panther Lake processors, featuring the Core Ultra X7 358H CPU paired with an Arc B390 integrated graphics chip. The upgrade brings enhanced performance to this compact system, though it comes with a significant price jump that positions it in premium territory.

The base model now costs €1,850, which is €355 more than the previous Intel Core Ultra 5 225H configuration. This price includes Windows 11 Pro, 16 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 1 TB NVMe SSD. Buyers can scale up to 64 GB of faster DDR5-6400 memory or expand storage to 4 TB, pushing the maxed-out version to nearly €2,922.

Despite its fanless design, the Kubb maintains a remarkably small 12 × 12 cm footprint while weighing 2.3 kg thanks to its machined aluminum chassis that doubles as a passive radiator. The thermal solution integrates cooling fins directly into the case structure, which Bleu Jour claims optimizes heat dissipation.

Connectivity options are surprisingly robust for the form factor, with front-facing Thunderbolt 4 supporting DisplayPort 2.1, USB-C with alt mode, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Rear ports include dual HDMI 2.1 outputs and two Ethernet connections. While the pricing competes with AMD Ryzen AI 395 Max+ mini PCs, the fanless design appeals to users prioritizing silent operation over cost savings.

The Kubb Fanless targets a specialized segment of users who value passive cooling and compact size, making it suitable for digital signage, home theater PCs, or noise-sensitive environments where traditional cooling solutions aren't viable.
