ASRock has refreshed its fanless iBox mini PC line for industrial use, swapping in Intel’s Panther Lake silicon. Buyers can choose between the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H and the Core Ultra 5 325 processors. Both models support up to 128 GB of memory and in‑band ECC, while the X7 variant pairs with dual‑channel DDR5-7200 RAM and the Ultra 5 with DDR5‑6400.

The aluminium chassis tips the scales at 3 kg, using the metal shell to dissipate heat without a fan. Storage is user‑provided via an M.2 2242 and 2280 slot (M‑key). Front I/O packs a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑A, a Thunderbolt 4/USB4 port with DP 2.1, two USB‑C 3.2 ports, two USB 2.0, an audio jack and a COM connector.

Rear connections include dual HDMI 2.1, two 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports, a pair of USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑A sockets and an out‑of‑band port for remote power control. ASRock lists prices on request, signaling a focus on OEM and edge‑computing buyers rather than retail shoppers. The upgrade positions the iBox as a compact, fanless solution for demanding, space‑constrained deployments.

With PCIe 5.0 lanes available via the M.2 slots, the platform can host high‑speed NVMe drives or AI accelerators, expanding its role in edge AI and digital signage. Its rugged design and extensive connectivity make it a strong contender for factories, kiosks, and transportation systems today.
