Industrial PC maker AAEON has rolled out the BOXER-6407-TWL, an ultra‑slim embedded board built around Intel N250 or N150 N‑series processors (formerly Twin Lake). Measuring just 153 × 101 × 30 mm, the chassis is 35 % thinner than the company’s prior ultra‑slim boxes, targeting cramped installations like semiconductor fab equipment and digital signage, while maintaining fanless operation for harsh environments quick fit.

The unit packs VGA and HDMI outputs, letting it drop into legacy display setups without rewiring. I/O includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, three USB 2.0 connectors, dual Gigabit Ethernet and two DB‑9 serial ports supporting RS‑232/422/485. Its fanless, ventless shell tolerates up to 60 °C and blocks dust, suiting rugged industrial sites for continuous operation in manufacturing lines and remote kiosks throughout the day.

Storage shifts from traditional SATA to an M.2 2280 M‑Key slot, with optional M.2 2230 E‑Key, 3052 B‑Key modules and a SIM card reader for cellular backup. Compatible with Windows 11 Pro, Windows 11 IoT and Ubuntu 24.04+, the BOXER‑6407‑TWL gives system integrators a compact, fan‑free platform that can be retrofitted into existing lines without major redesign, saving space and cooling costs for manufacturers in the long run.
