GMKtec has launched its compact NucBox K17 mini PC featuring the new Intel Core Ultra 5 226V processor, a Lunar Lake chip built on TSMC's 3nm process. This 8-core CPU offers a 2.1GHz base clock and up to 4.5GHz on the performance cores. Total AI compute power is significant, reaching 97 TOPS combining the CPU, dedicated NPU, and Arc 130V iGPU, with the NPU alone delivering 40 TOPS.

Graphics are handled by the Arc 130V, capable of up to 1.85GHz and supporting ray tracing and XeSS upscaling. Triple display output is available via two HDMI ports and a USB4 port supporting up to 8K resolution. The USB4 port itself runs at a fast 40Gbps, enabling eGPU connectivity, Power Delivery, and display output simultaneously. Storage is non-expandable via a soldered 16GB LPDDR5X module at 8533 MT/s, paired with a PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD slot (512GB, 1TB, or 2TB) and a second PCIe Gen 5 x4 slot offering up to 16TB total expandable storage, though SATA SSDs aren't supported. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 2.5G Ethernet port.

The mini PC measures 127.5 x 127 x 44.5mm and weighs 460g, powered by a 100W adapter. Prices start at $559.99 for 16GB RAM + 512GB SSD, rising to $619.99 for 16GB + 1TB SSD, with a $15 launch discount available using code GMKK1715. The NucBox K17 is available globally via GMKtec's websites.
