At CES 2026, German audio manufacturer beyerdynamic unveiled significant updates to its gaming and wireless audio lineup. The spotlight is on the MMX series, specifically the MMX 150 and MMX 230 gaming headsets. The MMX 230 stands out with a hybrid design, functioning as both a wired USB-C headset and a wireless Bluetooth device.

A clever engineering choice allows users to detach an ear cushion to store the included USB-C dongle, ensuring gamers never lose their connection method. For active users, beyerdynamic introduced the Amiron Zero. These are open-ear, clip-style true wireless earphones designed to provide audio without blocking out the environment, making them ideal for workouts and outdoor sports.

Additionally, the company launched the Amiron 100, a pair of noise-canceling true wireless earbuds priced aggressively to compete with the Apple AirPods 4, offering a similar feature set at roughly two-thirds of the cost. These announcements highlight beyerdynamic's strategy to innovate in form factor and value.
