ASUS ROG Raikiri II Pro PC Controller: 8K Polling, 79-Hour Battery

ASUS Republic of Gamers unveiled the ROG Raikiri II Pro PC, a competition-focused controller built around an 8000 Hz polling rate and 2.4 GHz wireless via ROG SpeedNova technology. Every input — D-pad, ABXY, rear buttons, bumpers — uses micro switches for instant actuation, while the Dual Mode Triggers let players flip between short-travel micro-switch clicks and full-travel TMR sensor pulls depending on genre.

Customization runs deep. Hot-swappable TMR joystick modules promise anti-drift consistency and lower power draw; the box includes a default 120 gf set and a lighter 50 gf alternative. Four removable rear paddles and two claw bumpers join the face buttons in a fully remappable layout. A built-in full-color OLED panel handles on-the-fly profile switching (five slots), vibration tuning, stick calibration, and RGB tweaks without leaving the game. ASUS Gear Link software adds granular sensitivity curves and a Turbo mode that auto-repeats held inputs — useful for fighting games and RPGs.

Battery life hits 79 hours on a single 2.4 GHz charge, outpacing most wireless rivals. The package bundles a protective charging case, a desktop stand with feet, four rear-button cover plates, a module removal tool, two TMR sticks, and two extra thumbstick caps.

At this spec level, the Raikiri II Pro PC targets the same enthusiast tier as the Xbox Elite Series 2 and Scuf Instinct Pro, but the 8K polling rate and hot-swappable TMR sticks give it a technical edge for competitive PC players who prioritize latency and stick longevity over console compatibility.
