ASUS is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its gaming division with the ROG XBOX Ally X20, featuring a larger 7.4-inch OLED display. The new model upgrades from last year's ROG Xbox Ally X with a translucent black shell and gold accents, maintaining the same core design. The display improvement includes increased brightness up to 1,400 nits peak and better contrast from the OLED panel.

Internally, the device retains the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip, 24GB of shared RAM, 1TB SSD, and 80Whr battery. It also features customizable back paddles and upgraded magnetic joysticks. While performance remains strong, rivals like the MSI Claw 8 EX AI+ offer higher tiers at $1,800.

The ROG XBOX Ally X20 sees a price increase to $1,300 from the original $1,000. A bundle option is available for $2,499, including ROG XREAL R1 Edition 20 Gaming AR Glasses, a Dbrand Killswitch shell, 68-watt power adapter, and Pelican Protector Case. Pre-orders are live via ASUS and Best Buy, with sales beginning October 15.
