ASUS has launched the ROG Equalizer, a specialized 12V-2x6 PCIe power cable designed to enhance power delivery stability for modern graphics cards. This new cable, compliant with ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards, will be included with the upcoming ROG Thor III and ROG Strix Platinum power supplies. The cable targets persistent reliability issues with 16-pin GPU power connectors by distributing power more evenly across all pins, reducing the risk of hotspots caused by uneven current distribution.

ASUS claims the design keeps operating temperatures around 73°C even when some wires aren't under full load, a significant improvement over standard cables which can run noticeably hotter due to uneven conductor loading.
