According to leaker Kepler_L2, AMD's RDNA 5 architecture is reportedly targeting clock speeds from 3.1 GHz to 3.5 GHz. The leaker claims access to AMD's internal materials, suggesting the new silicon will feature significant microarchitectural changes alongside a 4-14% frequency boost over the Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU's 2.97 GHz boost clock.

However, it remains unclear whether these speeds apply to integrated graphics, dedicated graphics, desktop, or mobile platforms. RDNA 5 is not expected to launch soon, with a probable release in mid-to-late 2027.

Earlier leaks revealed Samsung's Exynos 2700 mobile SoC featuring the Xclipse 970 GPU, co-developed by AMD and Samsung using RDNA technology. This GPU IP could upgrade to RDNA 5, potentially making the Exynos 2700 the first RDNA 5-equipped chip, built on Samsung's SF2 2 nm node.
