AAEON adds two new embedded AI boxes to its BOXER‑865xAI‑PLUS line, the 8651AI‑PLUS and 8652AI‑PLUS. Both run on NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX with Super Mode support and the JetPack 6.2 SDK, delivering up to 157 TOPS of AI throughput. The models follow the February launch of the 8653AI‑PLUS, completing the family.

The 8651AI‑PLUS measures 125 mm × 90 mm × 56 mm, making it suitable for cramped AIoT nodes in smart‑building and retail environments. It offers four USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a DB‑9 CAN/RS‑232 connector and a 10‑pin DIO header, while tolerating 12‑24 V input and –25 °C to 55 °C operation. The larger 8652AI‑PLUS, at 190 mm × 136 mm × 75 mm, adds dual CAN/RS‑232/422/485 ports, four USBs, dual RJ‑45, and an out‑of‑band management header, targeting industrial AMR fleets.

With all three units now in mass production, system integrators can select a form factor that matches their edge‑AI workload without sacrificing the series’ unified software stack and security features such as TPM 2.0 on the 8653 model. AAEON positions the lineup as a ready‑made solution set for smart‑city, industrial and retail deployments, delivering consistent performance across diverse environments.
