AAEON unveiled the EPIC‑PTH9, a 4‑inch industrial single‑board computer powered by Intel’s Core Ultra Series 3 processors. Buyers can choose between the Core Ultra X7 358H or the Core Ultra 7 356H, and the board claims up to 180 TOPS of AI throughput using the integrated CPU, Intel Arc B390 GPU and on‑board NPU, making it suitable for harsh factory floors and autonomous robotics.

The EPIC‑PTH9 targets vision‑heavy deployments with four Ethernet ports—three at 2.5 GbE and one at 1 GbE, two of which support PXE boot—plus two USB 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 2.0, and four internal serial headers. A dedicated 8‑bit GPIO, SMBus and configurable I²C lines round out the I/O suite, while a PCIe Gen 5 x8 slot enables add‑on AI accelerators, frame grabbers or specialized I/O cards, and future‑proof for upcoming standards.

Supporting Windows 11 and Ubuntu 26.04, the board operates from –20 °C to 70 °C and accepts 9 V–24 V power, fitting a 1U profile. By merging high‑density compute, robust networking and flexible expansion, the EPIC‑PTH9 gives manufacturers a ready‑made edge platform for multi‑camera AI, sensor fusion and control applications. Its low power draw also helps reduce overall energy costs, providing a concrete option for factories seeking on‑premise intelligence.
