Ferrari has unveiled the interior design of its first electric vehicle, the Ferrari Luce, created in collaboration with LoveFrom, the design firm founded by former Apple design chief Jony Ive and legendary designer Marc Newson. The Italian automaker is taking a deliberate approach to its EV debut, moving beyond simply replacing combustion components with electric motors.

The interior design draws inspiration from Ferrari's golden era of the 1950s through 1970s, featuring retro simplicity with clear round gauges and brushed aluminum finishes. Unlike modern Ferraris that rely heavily on capacitive touch panels, the Luce incorporates physical buttons and rocker switches without crash protection surrounds. The steering wheel resembles the iconic Nardi design, weighing 400 grams less than Ferrari's standard wheel thanks to its CNC-milled recycled aluminum construction.

The instrument binnacle houses two overlapping OLED displays, with the rear screen displaying analogue dials through cutouts that mimic traditional gauges. The infotainment touchscreen sits on a ball joint for adjustable positioning, and Corning's Fusion5 glass technology is used for the key and center console, featuring laser-etched graphics. The vehicle will feature dual motors at each axle, delivering 1,113 horsepower from a 122 kWh battery pack, with a 0-62 mph time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 192 mph.
