The threats demanded Ferrel either pay a specific sum or concede three goals, with threats against his life, wife, and mother. The Bolivian Professional Footballers' Union (Fabol) called for an immediate inquiry into the alleged threats at the Municipal Stadium of Villa Ingenio in El Alto.
