Wakefield Trinity secured an eighth win in nine matches, defeating Bradford Bulls 26-12 to move into second place in the Super League table.

Tries from Tom Johnstone, Will Tate, Jay Pitts, Josh Rourke, and Harvey Smith, along with three goals from Rourke, sealed the victory for Trinity. Despite a strong effort from the Bulls, who scored through Ethan Ryan and Chris Atkin, Wakefield's class ultimately prevailed, with Smith's late try putting the game beyond doubt.

Wakefield coach Daryl Powell acknowledged the Bulls' tenacity, stating, "It is about winning at times when you are not quite at your best and we did that tonight." Bradford coach Kurt Haggerty expressed disappointment, saying, "We went close. It is a step in the right direction but again, we will never be valiant losers and I'm pretty devastated."

The win keeps Wakefield within two points of league leaders Leeds Rhinos, while Bradford remains with one win in six.
