Overnight leader Viktor Hovland, chasing his first PGA Tour victory in 15 months, stumbled early with a bogey on the opening hole. US Open champion Wyndham Clark carded six birdies through 14 holes to reach 19 under, and England's Matt Fitzpatrick moved within three shots of the lead with seven birdies against two bogeys. Both players still have holes to finish when play resumes.
