However, injuries, including fracturing vertebrae in 2022 while wearing a back brace, significantly impacted his career.

His European Championship debut in 2024 saw him win bronze, but a subsequent back injury forced him to miss the Paris Olympics. In 2026, Glave returned with immense determination. He secured gold in the 60m at a World Indoor meet and broke the 10-second barrier, running 9.98 and then 9.97 seconds.
